Smudging can be used to cleanse your salon, workspace or any area, inviting in peace and harmony into your environment, setting your intentions and ridding of any negativity energies surrounding you.

SMUDGING GUIDE: (FOR PROFESSIONAL OR PERSONAL USE)

• Set your intentions behind your smudging session. Consider the clearing of negative energy from your space and replacing it with calm and positive vibes.
• 2: Before burning, open doors and windows to avoid direct inhalation of the smoke and to create a pathway for negative energies to exit.
• 3: Hold your smudge stick to a 45-degree angle pointing downward. Carefully light the end of the sage, let it burn for about 20 seconds and then gently blow out the flame so that you see orange embers on the end. The smoking will start.
• 4: Walking around your space, gently (and slowly) wave your smudge stick, repeating your intentions out aloud or mentally. Hold a ceramic or natural material bowl filled with water or sand under your smudge stick to catch any ash or debris that may fall.
• 5: Once your smudging is complete, submerge the stick into the bowl of sand or water to safely and fully extinguish.
